Today I’ll be sharing 10 of my favourite benefits that I enjoy as an Amazon Prime member.
I will tell you the truth: I haven’t been always an online shopper. I love going to the stores, so I can feel, touch and try everything. But since I moved to Canada, my mindset started to change, maybe because of the convenience, life is busy now with two little ones at home, and also the winter days really make me feel like I'd rather stay at home, cozy, drinking my coffee while finding some great deals on Amazon.ca. This is one the main reasons I love Prime. I usually tend to buy things on the last minute. For instance, we had planned to go to the beach and I noticed I forgot to buy the baby’s tent, with Prime, I was able to order it just a few days before the event and it arrived on time. Prime has saved me on an occasion or two.
2. Prime FREE Same-Day Delivery
Amazon Prime members shipping to select metro areas across Canada can choose to receive FREE Same-Day Delivery on a broad selection of items.
3. Prime Early Access Lightning Deals
Amazon offers limited-time “Lightning Deals” to shoppers every day, but Amazon Prime members can access them 30 minutes BEFORE everyone else. You can take advantage of the extra 30 minutes by looking for upcoming deals, and selecting the “Watch This Deal” option. If you do it in the Amazon App, you’ll get a push notification when the deal goes live, so you can snag the item before it’s available to non-Prime shoppers.
4. Stream your favourite movies and shows
Watch Amazon Originals, popular movies, TV shows, and more. Your Prime membership gives you exclusive access to watch Amazon Originals including The Grand Tour, Homecoming, and award winners The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Man in the High Castle. Amazon Prime members can also take advantage of unlimited photo storage on their mobile devices. This is a major benefit for people who could use some extra storage space on their phones! Just upload your photos to Amazon through your browser or through the Prime Photo app, then delete them off your phone and free up that storage space.
Another cool thing about Prime Photo is that you connect up to 5 friends or family members to the same unlimited storage space, which Amazon calls a “Family Vault.” Everyone can upload their photos to a central location, making it simple to collect everyone’s snapshots from a day at the beach, a family vacation, or any other family events. You can even create and order prints, cards, and photo books too!
